Its large aperture also enhances depth of field effects like bokeh and subject-background separation. Featuring a declickable aperture ring and a grooved focus tab, the lens' manual focus design is both tactile and wieldy. The optical design features an extra-low dispersion element, two high-refractive index elements, and an aspherical element for clarity from the center to edge of the frame.
